PHP Programmer

Around 1993-94 Alex Irizarry started working with early websites and other technologies such as being the SysOp of a multi-line BBS (Bulletin Board Service), utilizing his parents’ business in Connecticut to learn as much as possible about the new technology boom known today as the internet. At the time their business was connected to many others through the use of a service provider that allowed them to connect to other businesses instantly, a practice not commonly used at the time.

After high school, he joined the United States Army. There, he learned electronics repair utilizing several methods to test, troubleshoot and repair the broken or damaged electronic equipment. During this time Alex became an expert at troubleshooting operating systems of on-board computers of tracked vehicles which were the first to be integrated into what today is known as the digital battle field. One of the main aspects was the Commanders Integrated Display computer which allowed the Commander to view not only what the gunner was viewing but also where other units in the field were positioned to increase situational awareness for the units instantly through the use of a wireless network.

In 2005 Alex Irizarry was hired by Eaton Aerospace to help develop new technologies in the electronics industry. Working with a team dedicated to excellence he and others worked on projects for commercial aerospace and space projects. Meanwhile his passion for all things internet still burned within while he worked on electronic equipment. Alex was building websites, scripts and software for several acquaintances.

In March of 2008 Alex Irizarry accepted a position as the lead programmer for a search engine marketing company. The company has 40+ clients and Alex is usually interacting with their websites daily. This has provided him with the ability to work with several programming environments to expand his knowledge as a Connecticut PHP Programmer and also work with languages such as C,C#,C++. He has also had the opportunity to work with technologies involving ASP .NET.

Towards the beginning of 2009 Alex felt that he needed to move closer to his field of expertise and find a position that involved getting back to his passion of coding. In April 2009 Alex accepted a position as the lead developer for a rapidly growing human resources support and information web portal. Here he has applied his experience to improve both front facing development for over 100,000 end users as well as administrative back end projects that cover more than 100 unique industries across the United States.
