PHP Programmer

Alex Irizarry started working with websites as early as 1993-94, utilizing his parents’ business  in Connecticut to learn as much as possible about the new technology boom known today as the internet. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Army. There, he learned electronics repair utilizing several methods to test, troubleshoot and repair the broken or damaged boards.

In 2005 Alex Irizarry was hired by Eaton Aerospace to help develop new technologies in the electronics industry. Working with a team dedicated to excellence he and others worked on projects for commercial aerospace and space projects. Meanwhile his passion for all things internet still burned within while he worked on electronic equipment. Alex was building websites, scripts and software for several acquaintances.

In March of 2008 Alex Irizarry accepted a position as the lead programmer for a search engine marketing company. The company has 40+ clients and Alex is usually interacting with their websites daily. This has provided him with the ability to work with several programming environments to expand his knowledge as a Connecticut PHP Programmer and also work with languages such as C,C#,C++. He has also had the opportunity to work with technologies involving ASP .NET.

Towards the beginning of 2009 I felt that I needed to move closer to my field of expertise and find a position that involved getting back to my passion of coding. I accepted a position in April 2009 as the lead developer for a rapidly growing human resources support and information web portal. Here I can apply my experience to improve both front facing development for over 100,000 end users as well as administrative back end projects that cover more than 100 unique industries across the United States.
